Fry questions?

I am wondering how long it takes for convict fry to start swimming?? Mine recently laid about 100 eggs and there are about 65 fry This is there first spawn and they are doing GREAT!!! And the other question is when should the fry be sepparated from the parents?? Thanks!

I seperated them around the .5-1" mark. Probably become free swimming in a matter of days after the hatch. A week at most.

Thanks matt! They fry hatched on wednesday so they should be swimming soon. What are some good foods to feed them so they can grow faster?

Liquid fry, crushed flakes...is what i used. At least until they got bigger.
