I was wondering what all of you use for a refugium light. Where you got it, kelvin rating, and what kind of growth you get with it.

I've been using a 5000k CF bulb for a while now, but I haven't been getting much success. Just had a patch of cheato die. I just switched to a 2700k bulb as this is the kelvin melvesreef used on his fuge. Then switched to a 5100k bulb. I'm sure many of you out there don't use a fixture made for a fuge so i'd like to know what you all use.

What kind of wattage are you using on what size of tank?

Something in the 6700K to 10,000K range should work, but you may need more wattage.

I have only 18 watts of 6700K on my current fixture (the other one died), but it seems to work OK.
