Full fish names

Just a quicky to ask some full names of some tropical fish, im sure there are more like me that dont know the full name, so post your "nicknames" of the fish in here...
mine are:
1. cories ???
2. ollies ???

Well, "cories" describe any fish belonging to the genus Corydoras.

I'm not sure what "ollies" are???

Well the full (scientific) names of the fish are nice to know if you want to do a pin-point search. But most people dont know them and just use the common or nicknames for them.

Like Josh said cories are the genus corydoras but I have never heard of ollies. :-/ *thumbsupsmiley* *twirlysmiley* ;D

what about:
1. ottoes - are they something like ottocynclus or somethin???

so how many species of the genus corydora?
and what are some examples (for a first tank, so hardy if possible, and easy to care for.)

Oto is short for Otocinclus affinis.
