Fungus help needed

My tiny black moor has a couple tufts of fungus behind the eye. I started treating with maracyn, but am thinking I will need to get maroxy. Is maroxy and/or aquarium salt safe to use with a butterfly loach/coldwater pleco. Also is the fungus contagious?

IMHO, i always use salt to treat any fungus. If i run out of aquarium salt, i even use my cooking salt and it really helps, they get better. So far my fishes have gotten much better with the help of salt alone. I dont use anything else to treat them except for salt.

But I wonder if the salt is safe for my loach? I can't seem to find any info on that.
