Hi..........had this problem for months now.....two fish both Black Skirt Tetras......originally thought it was popeye from agression damage as my Bueonos Airires chase them......but there wasnt any fin damage. Also the whole eye never popped out........it looks like a normal fish eye but with an air bubble on part of it.....then both eyes on the one fish are like this and one eye on the other fish is also. Plus both of their mouths look like they are bruised......a blackish purple and the damaged eyes are the same color........as for their activity.....they seemd to of never noticed.....i thought gas bubble diseaes also, but there are no bubbles anwhere else on theri body aside from the eyes.........any thoughts id greatly appreciate........thank you...Elated

there are no aggressive tankmates

the rest of the tank inhabitants are cory's, danio's and assorted Tetra's......for this reason i cant seem to think its bullying......plus there hasnt been any fin damage or anythign else that ive found.......thanks in advance.....Sincerely Elated

it could be......except the black skirts are about the same size and most are original tankmates.......however the Buenos did bully my neons to death but havent done it since as far as i can tell.......and black skirts are know to be the agressors themselves and mine havent bullied as far as i can tell.....tanks been set up for 4 years majority are at least 3 years old......except for the cories no ones bred so original inhabitants...if that helps......thank you for the info but i want to see some other opinions also.....in a few days im hoping someone will of had the saem bruising or symptoms........thank you though i appreciate it.....Sincerely ...Elated
