GBRs and Otos in same tank?

I have a 29gal that was a well-established SE Asia tank for a few years until a tuberculosis/septicemia outbreak wiped out everything. Kept a few cherry barbs in the tank for the last year just to make sure the tank was fully deconned. Now I'm ready to turn it Amazon. Will GBRs leave Otos alone, or should I get a more robust algae cleaning crew, like a bristlenose pleco? Thanks.

GBRs should leave them alone. Ive never heard any stories where they didnt. You should be fine.

im not sure if any fish really bugs ottos, they seem to get along with everybody, but in my experience they are a pain to keep alive.
