hey i got two more German blue rams today. there bolth females and i was wondeing what is happening because my male was up right agenst them in the corner and he stopped. (he is alot bigger than them.) whats going on?
He's trying to court them. As long as he's not hurting the females, keep them together. Once you get a pair, you may have to pull the other female out. Mine did that until they paired off.
Just keep an eye on them. As long as you don't see any gashes, shreaded fins, etc, they are just doing what they normally do when the male sees some good looking gals and wants to mate, lol. He' just showing who's boss.
well there fins are short and one of there fins is got a small nip in it should i move that one? and i know that there females cause there bellies are bolth pink and there top fin thing is shorter than my males
Just keep a close eye on them for a bit. If it get's to be too bad, separate them. But it sounds like what mine were doing when I added 2 females to a single male. Lasted about 2 days, then 2 paired up and both picked on the other female, which I then removed the other female.
