German Yellow Rams ???

Has anyone heard of a German Yellow Ram? I was at the LFS and they had several of these fishin a tank with the GBRs. They look just like the GBR but they are completely yellow and have the stripe through the eye. They were very cute, but I was a little leary about them since I have never heard of them mentioned before. Just for future reference, when I get my 55g does anyone think there would be a problem with keeping them with the GBRs?

I think the ones you are talking about are Gold Rams, from my knowledge they are the same as German Blue Rams, just a different colour varation

I am pretty sure they can cross breed though, so I woulden't suggest keeping gold rams and german blue rams in the same tank. I am tempted myself, but I'd rather wait untill I have the room to give them seperate tanks.

Gold rams are just a color morph of the blue ram. Shouldn't be any cross breeding going on. It'd be much like a pink and black convict breeding.
