Just looking at your sig, swordtail koi? I'm confused, surely not the potentially huge carp that should be kept in nothing less than a pond?

From what I've gathered on here (I'm not from the US myself, we don't have petco), this seems to be a shop to avoid, I may be wrong but I don't see why the delivery would be any better than buying them in store. If you have a local store which is trustworthy and where you've already got your fish from, go there.

Out of interest, what fish?

Except for my otos, all the fish I have I've bought online (from other hobbyists, not from a 'store' though). Most have been 'in transit' for 2 days, sometimes 3, and I've yet to have a fish that died. No idea how well Petco or any other retailer packs fish, guar of live arrivial, etc., but those I've bought from all guar that the fish would be alive and healthy. So far, so good!

Excuse me? I just got confused over your sig, no need to be abusive and break thread rules. If you read above, I actually gave you advice on buying your fish online, specifically from petco, take it or leave it. If you want to buy online, get orangecones to PM you the website as he's clearly had success with a particular retailer.

Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding.

If you buy from an online service with a good reputation, you shouldn't have issues with them being shaken about too much, afterall this is how they get to our stores, why not just cut out the middle man?

Personally I'd go for more swordtails, but you could get a couple more of both mollies and swordtails, you should have the space.
