I just got 4 ghost shrimp yesterday and now I can only find one. I found one dead, but I can't find the other two. One is still kicking. I have 2 swordtails, 1 male betta, 3 neon tetras, 1 albino cory, and 1 golden snail. Would any of them see them shrimp as food? I was hoping for a decent clean up crew.

My wife and I just finsihed stocking our "peaceful" tank (tetras, corys and shrimp) and as of today all 4 ghost shrimp have died, even though the water parameters are fine and all the other fish are thriving. I'm assuming the shops don't worry about keeping healthy shrimp since most people are buying them as feeders.

I found one of my "feeder" ghost shrimp lying on the carpet, dried up, next to my tank. It is well covered, but I'm guessing one of the fish chased him up and he jumped to his death. They are notoriously good at finding little crevices to hide in, so make sure you search really thoroughly before writing them off. :)
