Ghost shrimp

Anyone know what the average life span of ghost shrimp is?

Palaemonetes paludosus live up to two years, from what I've read.

Ok thanks. All of a sudden the really big ones in my tank died, wondering if they got old... The smaller ones are fine. Who knows... We will chalk it up to old age!

I've had 8-10 of them or so in with my male betta in the 10gal for a few months. Some of them are quite big. They're entertaining buggers to watch, especially during feedings.

One of the large ones got accidentally netted and put in my 55g (with other stuff). He/she cruises along in there like that's where he's always been.
