You may remember that I had a plastic tank that I was having a hard time finding a heater for old tank Everytime I put my hand in the tank the water felt so cold (was always between 68-70 degrees). I felt so bad (I knew it was stressing him out) that I decided to get him a new home. It is a 10 gal glass tank, he seems so much happier now that we has heat and more room to swim around.

that's got to be one happy betta. I wish all of my fish had 10gallons of water each. 1" per 10gallons. That means I'll need a 1,000 gallon tank!

nice, i think the substrate really compliments your bettas colour, any plans to try any tank mates?

I was thinking of getting him a tank mate but I'm not sure yet what to put in with him. It's gotta be something that I can move to my 25 gal if he doesn't like it.

that tank is huge for that little guy...... i have mine in a bowl.... not sure how many gallons it is coz in australia we talk in metric terms at a guess i'd say maybe 2 and he seems happy. i'm very opposed to those tiny ones the pet shops push!
