Okay, I have a school of 5 Glass cats...
(you know, those transparent ones where you can see all the bones)

Anyways, one of my specimens has developed milky blotches on his body. I have tried treating with Maricide and an anti-biotic.

I am not sure what it is...it's not ich, I know that much!

Any thoughts, anyone seen this before?

Which anti biotic..maracyn 1 or 2?

If they didn't help, maybe maroxy would.

Look on the maracide foldout paper that came with it. It lists possable signs of disease and which product to use. You may need maroxy. Maroxy kills plants, so if you have plants, you need to house them elsewhere while the med is in the tank.

I was originally using Furan and Maracide (the first an antibiotice/anti-bacteria infect, the latter a parasite med)...having got some feedback that it's probably a fungus I started treatment yesterday using "Maracyn"

I've picked up a couple other fungus meds.... (as that tends to be more of an issue for me than other diseases)

Okay, I'll probably know in 2-3 days on this matter....

Yesterday, I used a new Fungus medicine (in little gel capsules, will get the name) Turned the entire drink a flourescent green.

Anyways, today two things occurred.
1) The spots / blemishes seem somewhat reduced.
2) The ill fish was not following in the school.

My thought is the fish is possibly struggling, but the new medication is having a positive effect. So I think it's 50%/50%. If the medicine remediates the fungal infection soon I believe the fish will survive. But if it takes the meds more than another day or two I think the fish will be too weak.

Will keep all updated...
