I know I seen a photo of them posted before but I can't find it. I have been seeing these extremely small things on the glass of my tank. They look like glass spiders. Is that what aptasia looks like?

I'm staring to see A LOT of these sand particle looking things all over the glass. I can't tell if they are moving without going cross-eyed first.

my first guess would be encrusting snails. I tried to find a picture online for you but had no luck. I had a problem with them in my 20 l (they were everywhere, brought in on the bumbleebee snails I purchased)

If you look really closely at them do they appere to have spirals in there shells?

not neccessarily bad just a nuisance. They take a pretty good cleaning to get rid of and can and will cover everything (not so you cant see anything but noticable on powerheads, glass, rock...)

Did they appere after a recent addition in the tank?

I use a razor to get them off
