glazed pots?

Hi, I wanted to know rather than putting in the tank red clay pots as I have read is it safe to use the colored glazed pots? I thought it would make the tank prettier.

not sure, i personally don't think it would make a difference as it is the same material but with paint on it, plus the ceramic is fired so i would think that it would be safe. anyone else have any thoughts.

Personally, I would keep the reg. type as the color of it makes the tank look more natural.

i dont know what type of sealer/glaze they place on them so it is hard to say. i wouldnt risk it...but you could always test it out in a smaller tank with expendable fish

I wouldn't put them in. Some of those glazes are unstable or contain heavy metals.
