glofish feeding

We have glofish and I understand if the fish don't eat all their food within 5 minutes we should remove it from the tank. If the glofish are eating and the food falls to the bottom will they eat it or should I remove it? It seems as if they are in the middle of feeding when the food drops. We are only feeding one flake right now (2 fish) because we wanted to figure out how much to feed them.

I like to feed what they will eat in about one minute. I do this for three to four rounds and when they stop showing interest I stop. If some small pieces make it to the bottom I dont worry to much because I vacuum the gravel and water change once a week.
