glue

i was planning on goin with acrylic for my sump/fuge but i was just at homedepot and it actually came out to cheaper if i used glass.... so they cut it for free it came out to $17 but now i dont know what to use as far as glueing it together ....any suggestions??? some type of sylicone id imagine right???

just found this site that said i can use GE-brand window and door silicone is this safe??? it said its the same stuff from the lfs but im not sure if i trust that



edit: also i should sand it first right????

I've heard it's safe. Make sure it's the one that doesn't have a fungicide in it. The good one is pure silicone. Of course, you can use the one from the LFS, if you want to be sure.

You want GE silicone I. I have used it in my tank with no problem.

i went back to home depot and there were so many differant types of silicon that i just went to the lfs down the street and got a tube aqurium silicon *thumbsups
