Initally I wanted to put in a yellow watchman goby. Now I'm looking at a hi fin red banded goby. From what I have been reading they seem quite similar and I might ever get away with both of them. Any experiences with both of these?
No personal experience, but I've heard many people say to make sure that the rockwork is set on the tank glass rather than on the sand bed if you have digging gobies... so they don't burrow under the rocks and make an avalanche.
I am not sure I would put two watchman/shrimp gobies together.....as they both do the same thing. Though I would and do have a citron gobie and a wheeler's gobie in a 20g and they get along just fine. I think two of the same species need to be a mated pair to be put together.
