Ok, really quick question. What is the difference between a goby and a blenny? Still months away from anything saltwater, just a burning question I've had

Even within gobies and blennies, there is a lot of variety in terms of things like how reef safe they are or how aggressive they are. One species of blenny is certainly not the same as another species of blenny in terms of aggressiveness, diet or how reef safe it is. There are also several types of gobies--all rather different. You'll need to pick a certain species and research it, in all cases, for saltwater fish.
