Going rate for a 15 gallon?

Okay, I'm eventually going to have to move up to a 15 gallon tank, but I have no idea what a good price is for one. I know that the Petsupermarket in my town charges $25 and that Wal-Mart doesn't carry them. Is $25 the going rate?

mmm.. i remember someone saying like $1-$1.50 a gallon, $20-$30 sounds right. that's how much i see them for.

does it include stand and hood, etc?

Just the tank, nothing else.

yeah, anywhere in the 20-30 $$$ range is what i see around here for just the tank. 25 sounds good.

Hmm, then I'm prolly running out of excuses to not get one.

hehe it's the other way around for me- i'm fighting excuses to get something fish related, not making my own

Oh, ONLY one more tank. It is a problem, when I really only have room for one this year. I'll have more room next, year, but I have to move up anyway, so it will get done.

Just came from Petsmart and I was also planning on moving from a 10 to a 15. (Seems like the 15g is the only up-size that retains the same width and depth as a 10g)

They sold 15 gallons for $18.99.

Hmmm, petsmart you say. May have to check them out tomorrow after work... yes I can see this working this week.

Oh I just remembered, I think that the difference between the standard 15 and 10 gallon tanks is that the 15 is 4 inches longer and two inches wider. The height should be the same.

The 15 gallon I was talking about was a tall, so the only difference was a few inches in height.
