Gold Nugget with Ich, Salt Ok?

So my new gold nugget pl*co has got ich, this seems like such a noob question, but I just wanna make sure. Is it alright for him to have salt in the water? How much should I add? Its a 33gal btw, my gold severum also has ich too, but not as much. I just got these fish . . . Thursday...Temp in the tank is at 80 right now too, ive started raising that. Help please! I dont want to lose them!

I never gave a gold nugget any kind of bath before. I tried to treat with m. green and he died from velvet.. So no sucess on treatment there.

Salt will be fine, it's all I ever use for ich. The amount is a tablespoon per 5 gallons; so say 6.5-7 spoonfulls for the 33.

I started adding salt slowly tonight, and raising the temp. Hope he lives through it...

just make sure to add it slowly. Whenever I add it, I drag it out over a day or so., and leave it in there for 4 or 5 days(at least) after all symptoms have subsided.

I noticed that you got up a new avatar with a severum, but wasn't sure if it was yours or not. Plus you've got a gold-nugget pleco too? Wow...I can't wait to see some pics once this ich outbreak has been eradicated.
