Golden Ram Tumor?

I really need help with this-Ive been all over the internet and pet stores trying to figure out exactly what the mysterious bumps are on my golden rams head. I originally had a pair of them, and unfortunately not too long ago one of them passed away due to what I can only assume was a tumor(well, 2). It started on her head as little white bumps, and eventually grew into a larger one. It sort of exploded, and then another one started on her back. Same thing happened with that bump, and the whole time I felt so helpless. I tried an internal parasite medication, however it may have been the wrong diagnosis or possibly too late. The whole ordeal lasted about a month. Now its starting to happen to my other ram, and its really breaking my heart to watch this. If anyone can come up with a diagnosis or possible suggestion I would really appreciate it, because there seems to be no information to help me anywhere!

Steff, that's horrible. I'm sorry to hear it.

There's some more information that might help figure out what the problem is though - What size is your tank? How many occupents are in it and what are they? How long has your tank been running? Have you tested all your water perameters (Nitrite, Ammonia, Nitrate). What temp do you keep your tank at? Also if you can get a picture that might help.

The bump itself does it look fuzzy? Cottony? Did they change color over time? You said it 'exploded' did that release anything into the water?

What parasite medication did you use?

Lots of questions but hopefully some one here can help you find answers and we can help that little guy out.

So Ive included a picture I had of my first Ram after she got her second tumor, and the info on my tank/fish:
Its a 20 Gallon tank, pH was at 7.6 last time I checked, and nitrite, nitrate and ammonia levels are all fine. Temperature stays at about 79 F or 26 C .
My tank has been running for about a year and 2 months now, and in it I have 3 corys, 3 rams, 3 chinese algae eaters, 1 yoyo loach, 2 dwarf frogs, 2 ghost shrimp, 1 red honey gourami, 3 bumblebee gobies, 1 marbled hatchet, 4 neon tetras, and a couple male guppies. I cant get a picture of the whole tank right now unfortunately. The bump itself started off as a bunch of small white ones, then turned into one large bump. It had a cottony fuzzy appearance, and I didnt see anything released when it exploded. After it did, the bump was a red open sore, but didnt heal up at all. It stayed there, and soon my rams eye began to bubble out. I couldnt stand to watch it anymore so thats when I had to put her in the freezer. The exact same symptoms are happening to my ram now. And for medication I used maracyn specifically for parasites. If anyone has any idea, please tell me what you think about it.
