Goldfish Diseases

I have 2 large feeder goldfish & both have health problems.
One has a lower lip that is bumpy that happened recently & the other has something where his gills inside are exposed & the outside part is no longer there. Should I try treating or is euthanasia a better option ??

It sounds to me like they both have physical damage. Is there anything sharp in the tank, or tankmates that may have attacked them?
