I'm thinking of setting up a 20-gallon goldfish (comets) tank in my daughter's room and wanted to know:

A.) what kind of filtration system is best for the messy little boogers
B.) is there any type of catfish/bottom scavenger that can live in the coldwater tank with the goldfish?

We currently have 2 comets that are quickly outgrowing their 10-gallon tank, which is why I'm thinking of upgrading to the 20.  There won't be anymore goldfish added, just the two.

Ideas, thoughts?
Thanks...

How big is big enough for two comets? For feeder fish they sure have grown into vibrant, beautiful, long. flowing finned fish!  They're also my most humorous fish to watch at feeding time, as the go completely vertical, mouths wide open like baby birds waiting for the food to drop directly into their mouths  ;D

Another 55 gallon would be a problem, space-wise. I already have my house full with the following tanks:

90 gal. community tank
55 gal. tetra species tank
20 gal. fancy guppy breeding tank
10 gal. comet goldfish tank
10 gal. cycling danio tank
10 gal. quarentine tank
10 gal. fry tank
5 gal. hospital tank
(2) 5-gal. betta tanks

Running out of room, as everyone has tanks in their rooms as well as the rest of the house.  (I know -- I've gone mad! Started in 1996 and couldn't stop  :D)

How 'bout somewhere in the middle, maybe a 39 gallon Eclipse?
