Good Cleaner

Whats a good cleaner for a 55 gallon Mbuna tank. I had a pleco in there with them but this morning I found him in the intake for my powerhead. I knew he hung around that thing too much. My fish weren't aggressive at all to my pleco and was wondering if i should go for another one or is there something else that will get the cleaning job done? Thanks.

try a rhino pleco or a bristlenose....you must buy adults though not juveniles or the cichlids will harrass them.

He may have had an internal parasite If you don't already, make sure your pleco has a cave he can claim as his own.

Try a credit card. They're quite good for getting algae of glass. Algae on the rocks is a bonus for mbuna, and a pleco won't do anthing to keep your sand/gravel clean anyway.

Algae is always good for fish. I clean only the front glass with a blade. If u want ur tank free from algae then as lotus said u can use a credit card or have a huge pleco.
