Good enough for an otocinclus?

I've got a small five gallon tank, and algae covers a lot of the walls and all over the rocks and the little plastic tank I have. Can a five gallon supply enough algae to sustain a single otocinclus? I have a couple of live plants, java fern, elodea, and aponogeton.

I think it will make do. Remember to supplement the otos diet with blanched (lightly boiled) veggies like grated zucchini without the skin, types of lettuce, boiled peas, etc.
