Good names for betta's

Lets's have some suggestions for names for a betta. I am thinking of calling mine (I have had my male for almost 2 months, and thought about calling him earl the pearl, or earl of pearl).

Thor (god of thunder in scandinavian mythology) is a good name. try gods names of like roman, greek, and scandinavian mythology.

my first betta's name was ashurbanipal (assyrian king). he died a while ago though. i havent gotten another one yet.

What about a name from Thailand (formerly Siam), so you can think of him as Siamese?

There are a lot of baby name sites out there that list by country of origin, if you're interested in doing this. For example, the name Niran means eternal.

I like one syllable people names...Tim, Sam, Hank, Ty, Dale, Dax, Clyde, etc (all names of bettas my roommates or I have). They are easy to remember, and they seem to fit with my bettas.

I also had one named Neptune, which works on many levels .

I name mine whatever they tell me to! They usually give me their names. If not, I give them a name according to their bettatude or fishonality.

I named mine Vegas b/c of his coloring.........red, blue and purple all mixed just seems to remind one of all the neon you see on the strip, you know?
