20 high tank:
5-6 zebra danios
5-6 black neon tetras
1 SA bumblebee catfish
1 dwarf gourami

Would this be good, or too much? If I were to take away something, I'd probably take away the dwarf gourami. Currently in the tank are 4 zebra danios, and 4 black neon tetras that I just added today. The pH is a bit high, around 7.8, but the tank is cycled. I am currently doing a 20% water change once a week, but I could increase the amount I change.
Thanks for any help!

Sounds great! Just make sure your catfish has a good hiding spot - they're nocturnal, and need a dark resting place during the day such as a pvc pipe or hollow decoration.

Are you thinking about live plants?

I have only plastic plants right now. Maybe I'd try live plants in the future, but I tend to dig up a lot of the gravel when cleaning and I think it would disturb the plants. There is a cave for the catfish; I think it's on the left in this picture.

You could always do anubias if you would like plants, but worry about cleaning around them. You can tie them to your driftwood initially, and then when their roots grow they hold on by themselves. Not down in the gravel at all.

Cute tank! That cave should be fine, but if you notice him hiding a lot or acting shy you might want to invest in one that he can hide himself completely in.

It may seem counterintuitive, but having a place to completely hide himself will actually make him more confident and more likely to hang out where you can see him :)

Thanks! That makes sense about having a hiding place; I figure the catfish will fit in the larger of the caves when he's smaller, but once he's bigger I might buy a new one.
