good submersible filters

what submersible filters have you guys used successfully?

i'm probably going to put my fiddler crabs in a 5G tank with a sand substrate, but I've never used any type of submersible filter before.

ANY input at all would be helpful. esp. experiences with any of the cartridges these things use....

thanks Lotus, that looks like a better filter than many of the ones ive looked at so far.

my biggest concern is if a sand substrate is going to clog one of these things reall bad......

the duettos are great little sub-filters.

i have used them for amphibinan tanks and think that they are great.

I picked up a Duetto 50, a 5.5G tank, mesh screen top and some sand this weekend.
after cleaning the sand like crazy (i bought some play sand from home depot for $2) I got the tank working.

my fiddler crabs are trying to escape it as we speak!

that Duetto is prett cool.
totally silent and plenty of power for the small tank.
