goofy snail question

so i bought a snail... i believe it to be a male apple snail i will post a pic of him below... anyway.. he likes to climb across the bubble curtain tube until it launches him in the air and he floats back down to the bottom... is there a reason for this?

my boyfriend thinks he likes the bubbles under his "foot" like a massage haha

doesn't seem to hurt him but its absolutely hilarious.. any input would be helpful thanks

LOL you made me want to get one of those. xD Sorry I'm no help, Wish I knew. My guess is he probably DOES like the bubbles...or else he thinks theres food around the thing...

im just gonna guess, but he probably doesnt know that it is bubbles, and then he gets air in his shell and floats away. or there may be some algae on the bubbler

There could be algae on the bubbler. My starfish crawls inside my skimmer to eat the algae sometimes. Lol. He could also like the bubbles. I have fish that really enjoy them. Hard to say.
