Got a crown tail!

i just rescued a betta from petco. he is a crown tail with red, blue, and purple. he is in a 2.5 gallon. are there any recomendations for plants?

Mine loves the sword plants. He is always weaving in and out and sleeps on one of the leaves. Congratulations! Any pictures?
