I got a 90cm (50gal I think) with everything for $150. The person I bought it from got it in May this year so it's pretty new.

It still needs some work done to it. Needs more gravel and some plants. Plus a new lighting setup.
I would go with live plants but I steer away from it till I move back to the states I think.

Right now I have 3 corys and a Cape Lopez Lyretail.
I need some suggestions for fish.
I want to go for Discus but I don't think I have the time to care for those.

yes discus require alot of care. you could get some angels but you will need a few more hiding places(plants ,rocks, etc.)

tank is nice. i like the wind rock on the right side of the tank, the big ones look really nice, but they are really expensive.

I LOVE the blue gravel :) usually I think colored gravel looks cheesy...but I think it looks good. Nice size tank, you could do a lot with it. Have fun!

Paula - Thats cool! Wow... I didn't know there would be anybody else from here on this site. Are you active duty?

I bought a new light for it (much better now). I think it's just a 30w but thats all I need since I'm not doing live plants. Also picked up 6 more bags of gravel so now my plastic plants can stay anchored and the tanks looks much more fuller. Also got a Master Test Kit. I was feeling bare without one (need a nitrate test still).

I kinda wish I kept alot of my stuff from my old aquarium before I moved here. I think I spent nearly $500 on my 29gal and sold it for $50.

I would really like to start a cichlid tank but I don't know where to start and I don't want a fish thats too aggresive. Not too interested in Angels... yet.

Yes I am active duty. By the way do you know a good place around here to get live plants. I can't find them and can't speak Japanese. I really dont want to have to go all the way back to Hach to get a few plants.

There's a small pet store if you go out the main gate and take a left at the 2nd stoplight (where the brown city hall building is). Go down that street and the shop is on the left. It's maybe 2 blocks down if that. It'll have a picture of a Guppy on it.

Where's the store you where talking about that is on White Ploe road?
