1. They are a bad idea for a community tank IMO:p
2. No angels are a bad idea to keep with them
3. Yes your tetras will be "fish food"
4. check out my threads if you can
5. search for breeding them look for one called "what do you like more Rams or Kribs?"
6. search for breeding, then go to the 2nd page and look for one called "breeding options"

What kind of knife did you get? Most of the ones in the trade will outgrow your 55 gal. a couple of angels may fit, kinda depends on the individual fish and the parrot.

Yes your tetras will most likely end up as dinner, but IMO if you got a BGK they only hunt if not fed well.

BGK's will outgrow a 55gl. Clown knives should not even be kept in aquariums IMO...unless you've got a 2,000 gallon tank lying around. African knives are suitable. All are predatory.
Parrot cichlids can be pretty aggressive. It, along with the knife - whatever it my be, will eat the tetras.
Tetras need to be in schools. These are highly social fish and rely on large numbers to feel safe from predation. In low numbers these fish become stressed and susceptible to disease. So you get to choose either tetras or parrot [and knife].
