This time the pics arent of my Africans, its about my one, lonely Female Convict. Had her for a while, and I am definatly attatched to her...Her fins are growing great too! Time for her to get a boyfriend ;)





The last pic isnt the greatest, I just thought it looked cool though.

Yeah I know, its that blue-green algae crap. Im going to start treating it tomorow. No matter how much I vaccume that darn gravel, it comes back

shes actually really nice. i miss mine.
but just so you know...they breed insanely fast. i had mine a week and they had laid eggs already. but after 3 spawns my male started attacking my female. thats the problem with them, they tend to get very very aggressive towards one another, and they get kinda big too, shell outgrow a 10g eventually. though full grown males are beautiful. :)

yeah I had her with a male that was smaller then her, they spawned 3 times and ate the fry just as they became free swimmers. she eventually killed the male. i just dont want her to have to live alll alone in that tank ya know... i might end up just putting another female in there with her and hopeing it isnt a bloodbath
