OK.. to start this I DONT have any breeding gourami at present I want the information about it first

A) How easily do gourami breed? I have guppies at present so can you compare them to how easily guppies breed please
B) Will catfish eat the gourami fry?
C) Will gold and blue gourami mate? if so what color will the fry turn out to be?
D) is it wise to let gold/opaline or blue gourami mate?
E) what do I look for to tell if they have mated and are having fry? (only ever had livebearers breed).
