Hi guys!
I have 3 gourami (2 turquoise and 1 flame, all males). I bought them 3 or 4 weeks ago and they all started off very well. About 1.5 weeks ago one turquoise gourami became sick. I attributed it to bad worm it swallowed. It was better and worse, up and down but never started eating again. It behaves like it is blind: bumping into things, does not react on light and so on. It shrunk comparing to other two which are doing great. And 2 day ago it started show strange behaviour: it goes in circles counter clockwise. It never stops and even I am getting dizzy looking at it. I am sure it's going to die but I do not have guts to put it out of its misery. I am wondering, does anybody know what is it? It looks really weird and disturbing.
My water readings are fine: nitrites and ammonia 0, nitrate 10, pH 7.2.
Apart from these 3 gourami in 29g tank I have 4 dwarf puffers,2 redtail sharks (I need give one of them away because dominant one harasses smaller shark), 6 zebrafish, 6 black neons, 2 cories, 2 or 3 smartest ghost shrimps that outlived other 10 less fortunate ones and even managed to change their coats once. Everybody co-exist peacefully (except one redtail that I mentioned but it chases only his own species).
I would greatly appreciate any insights into this circling behavior.
