I have kept fish as a hobby and (nearly) a proffesion for 3 years now although I have just discovered this site. I just wanted to share with you an oddity I've observed that pertains to my collection of chocolate gouramis. Early one day I noticed my cat was extremely attracted to a tank where I put one of my chocolate gouramis. She has never seemed interested in any of the tanks before (I have 5 100 gallon aquariums and 4 55 gallon) But now she just sits and watches these chocolate gouramis (I have since added 12 more)
