Gourami or Betta?

What fish would you choose if you had a 10 gallon tank with zebra danios in there?

I'd always choose a gourami over a betta for a community tank. For a 10g, make sure it's a dwarf gourami.

I would second the dwarf gourami. A school of fast moving danios might freak out the betta, and some bettas simply don't like company.

Hahaha,
My Betta decided that my other fish were supper, it went after everything that swamp, even after my fiddler crabs and my huge moon crab, never in my life have I have ever see a Bette so agresive to other tank maktes, its usually the other way around. Suffice to say, he is now in a 2 gallon bowl for being a bad little boy.

Bettas can be risky, I'd go with a dwarf gourami, or a honey gourami, or a croaking gourami.

I would choose the dwarf gourami.Bettas can get aggressive with other fish. Female bettas could get along but like I said bettas can get aggresive with fish.
