The Pink Kissing Gourami is a Gourami, therefore it breeds some what like a betta with a bubble nest. They are VERY agressive in my experience. They are not kissing either that are actutally showing agression towards ech other.

If you click on the Freshwater Profiles button on the left (at least, it is on the left on my computer), you can read people's opinions about all sorts of wonderful fish. FYI

Actually they do not build a bubblenest and are free spawners laying well into the thousands of eggs. The parents do not atke care of the eggs and are ok eating them. The kissing is a sign of a *thumbsupsmiley* strong spawning

The "kissing" is actually a sign of dominace and to help establish a pecking order. The bigger the lips, the more dominate the fish. In human terms, it would make Mick Jagger emperor of the world.

In small volume tanks, pink kissers can be a real pain in the rear with tankmates, but in larger tanks, I've no trouble with them at all.

You just have to take into account that when all is said and done, you're gonna have a =huge= fish on your hands. I've seen abandoned pink kissers at other stores that you can't even believe are actually gouramis.
