Gourami Tank Mates?

What are some good tank mates for my Flame Gourami and Frost Blue gourami? i have a ten gallon tank.. I want to contrast the colors. I am also interested in a dawrf puffer.. do you guys have any suggestions

From what i've read the puffer would terrorize your other gouramis. I really think your 10 gallon is fully stocked.

your telling me i have no more room in my tank for any more fish? i should have at least 5-6 gallons left to put other fish in

Are those both dwarf gouramis? If so, they will only get to about 2" and you should have some more room. The puffer wouldn't be a good idea.

Like lotus said if there dwarfs mabe 5 or 3 gallons left but if there not then yes thats exactly what i'm saying how did you come up with 5 to 6 gallons left.

the puffer would gladly nip off all your gouramis fins and then begin taking chunks out, i wouldnt get puffers, I would look into tetras, cories or ottos

With 2 dwarf gouramis you have a good 6 inches left to fill. Maybe some small tetras, cories, platies, or even zebra danios. It doesn't take a genious to do the math here, 2 dwarf gouramis which grow to around 2" each equals 4" minus 10"(10 gal.) = 6" of fish for this general guideline on stocking.*crazysmil
