Gourami with IP - Treatment Plan

#1
I'm pretty sure my dwarf gourami in my big tank has internal parasites. His poop is white, curly and stringy...he's been hiding more, and now he's bloating...kinda...only on one side.

Whatever I decide to treat with, I should treat the whole tank, right...and not just put him in a med tank. He's the only one looking sicky.

What should I use to treat? Garlic? Pepso food? Seachem's Metro? anything else. Excluding the garlic I'd have to order-in anything else.

Thanks Lotus. That's what I'm doing. Hubby and I are making the trip to the "big city" tomorrow so I should be able to get Metronidazole for him. Right now he's in my hospital tank and I'm feeding him (and he's eating!!) bits of raw garlic.

I'm going to treat him with metronidazole both in the water and in his food, plus treat the tank he came out of with one round of it in the water.
