Gourami's and bettas? Bettas and Tetras?

Trying to decide what new fish to get for your tank is HARD! I have a few questions.

I'm interested in Dwarf Gourami, Dwarf Honey Gourami, Pearl Gourami, and a Crown Tail Betta. Obviously not ALL of them in my lil 30 gallon, but they're among my choices as of now.

My questions are.

My tank currently houses 6 Rummy Nose Tetras, soon to be 10.

Will a betta share a tank with the tetras?

Will a betta share a tank with any or all of the above mentioned Gouramis?

You'd probably want to pick either the gourami or betta.

If it were my tank, I would probably go with a dwarf gourami or maybe 2. There are just so many varieties to choose from and they all have nice colors.

The pearl gourami could work too. But check out the 3-spot blue gourami. You might like those even more.

In my 20g I have 4 Danios, a Female Betta, Dwarf Gourami, and a Rubber-Lips. They all play nice. Not sure if I would do a male Betta and Gourami.

A female betta would work with a gourami (or 2). You can get female crowntails, but you have to search around for them.

Just don't get two males of any kind. I learned that the hard way with dwarf gouramis. Also, my betta is living in a community tank with tetras, rasboras, otos, and rams with no problems.

I keep two gold gouramies with my three pictus and a betta in my community tank, which includes tetras. So far no problems...just don't try mixing a betta and gourami together.

dwarf honey gouramis are very peaceful. If you can find them in your area sparkling gouramis are lovely once they are settled into a nicely planted tank and you could keep a few of them. Like everyone said, definitely don't mix gouramis and bettas, but I think one or the other would do fine with rummynose tetras.
