i have two male dwarf powder gouramis, and yes, like i should have expected they are fighting a bit.
nothing major, yet anyway, no chunchs or major biting happening, just nudging.
they were both bought from the same aquarium in the lfs which i thought would make it more likely that they would get along.
i have had them for about 4 day's now and i just noticed it last night.
does anybody think that this is going to get better or should i separate them.
right now they are in a 30g planted, there are tons of little nooks and crannies and their other tank mates include 3 honey gouramis, which get along well, 4 platies, 1 sword, corys and 2 otto's.
thanks for any info...

thanks guys, that's what i thought.
sad but true, i had one male dwarf before and he just recently died of a fungus infection that spread because my bleeding hearts attacked him.
i really do not want a repeat performace.
one will go, now i just have to decide which one i want.
one has some amazing colour to him, but he's the really agressive one, from what i can tell.
the other isn't as bright, but i think that's because he's a little stressed.
one will go :(

thanks for all the help

so he's back now, i feel bad, but what can you do.
and i got a coolie loach to help with my snail problem.
thanks for all the info guys, it helps a lot.
in the last week i keep thinking about how much bad luck i've had with this new hobby.
but i'm not ready to give up yet.
i love all the little fishies too much.
and i think i'm providing a good home for them.
i will post a picture or two when i get them on the computer.
thanks

If you want to solve your snail problem, the best loach to get is a yoyo... Clown loaches do a better job, but will eventually get too big (especially since they like to be in small groups)....
