I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my grandmother about a year ago and it was really a sad time for me as she nearly raised me. She was a 2nd mom to me, and I was asked to be a paul-bearer (sp?) along with her 5 sons (my uncles). It was an honor to be given that position over the other male relatives she has. Grandparents are very special people, and whenever one dies it hurts me deeply. I only have 1 left, and he's a real 8a$+a^d so we're all waiting for him to go.

Very sorry to hear that,I know how you feel,I have lost all bar one of my grandparents, not to mention my mum.

It is a sad time for you. One thing a preist said to me after my mum died was:

"Death is not an ending,it is a begining even though we may not realize at the time"

Maybe you will find some small comfort in this..............

Aw, I am sorry to hear that Fishkid.

Personally, I've noticed that a lot of older people have come to peace with the idea of their end and have reflected back on their lives and enjoyed the memories. Hopefully she was this way and is glad to not be confined to the flesh anymore.

Keep the memories alive - and she will never be gone.
