It doesn't suck

Check your tubing for holes. If there are holes in the tubing you will not be able to keep a good prime *suction*. I had that problem with mine so I upgraded and got a Python No spill. Best to just get a new one.:D

i have a python. it's extremly nice. for vacuuming the python cannot be beat. the more water comming out of your faucet, the stronger the suction.

in my 55gal i have a flourite bed couvered by an inch of smooth pebbles. the pebbles are great for my corys and easy to vacuum.

I Had that problem too. If yours once worked better than it does now than its possible that the little flapper valve is clogged/restricted. simply remove the flapper so it works better or just get a larger vacuum... the larger the hose the more vacuuming power you will have!!

i might try a larger one, i allready drilled out that flapper thing, that was my first thought, im not sure what brand i bought, i think i maybe thought i worked good the first time, maybe there was more stuff there, i dont know, all i know is its frustratinf watching those turds just float around and not going out !
