gravel, where to buy

ive allways used pool filter sand for my tanks, recently i tried to buy some for a 120 gal tank i was setting up, they dont have the larger type gravel sand, its all fine, even the "chat" is too small anyone know where i can get the larger sand ?

Have you looked into normal play sand? I believe its a bigger grain size then pool filter sand. How big are we talking here?

the old stuff is earthy colors, is about 1/8 in dia.. i have some old pics on this forum here of the tanks..

I picked up some stuff at the LFS that was a bigger grain size than regular PFS i had used previously. The bag said quartz sand, but still said "filter sand" on it.

" all ways used" key words..... try something different like river rock
