Can I ask why the instructions on the box of the green algae sheets recommend you should remove any uneaten algae after 24 hours? Is it because the algae is already dead and is therefor decaying in the water?
If so, is it ok to take the day old piece out and immediately replace it, or should I reduce the size of the pieces I put in untill there is nothing left after 24 hours? I don't want anyone going hungry, ESPECIALLY the new blue faced angel.

That's just bull. No way. The prticle size, shape is wrong for pthyto, and a zooplankron feeder will derive no nutrition even if it doesn't reject it.
