my green terror and my convict i think were doing a lil dance togethe they wwere facin each other and shaking there heads anyone think that they can mate

maybe, someone just bread a convict with a jack dempsey. It's not encouraged though because hybrids usually have problems.

,....ya your are probably right i dont have much experance with jd's i only have a 150 who fertalized the eggs not the mouth brooder... if any fish even the father of the eggs after fert. his survival is questionable --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What mouth brooder are you talking about? Every fish mentioned in this thread - jack demspey, goldsaum/GT, and convicts - are all substrate spawners.
