I just did a water change a few days ago. now my water is green! how do it get rid of it? and if i do a black out will it hurt my corals?

If your corals are photosynthetic ones (probably yes) , then they require light to survive else you'll kill the dinoflagellate algae in them called xooanthellae.

Green water = dirty water/nutrient problem. You nuked your cyano didn't you - you've moved from one nuisance algae to another as you didn't fix the root cause

i know the source, its the water im using. it water from the spout on the fridge, im just gonna get those gallon jugs at safe way for now on.

Ram, try calling around to various stores and see if they have water vending machines... these things spew out reverse osmosis water, often with RO/DI being an option too which is what I use.

I have a 3 gallon container I fill up once a week at my local hippie/vegan/organic/health food/what have you store.
