My kribs have produced a few broods, and now I want to start removing fry from the tank before they get the the size when they are released from and eaten by their parents so I can sell them. How long does it take krib fry to grow to 4-5 centimeters?

It depends on what you feed them, and how well the water is kept clean. The better food, the better quality water will make them grow faster. As for a timeline, I can't remember.

Generally I would wait until the fry are free swimming before I tried to move them to a new tank, just to lessen the chances of them stressing out from a new environment. For the first few WC's on young fry I would use water from the main tank they came from rather than new water until they get a bit older.

In addition to what Orion said, here's a few questions that would make a guesstemate easier.

1) How many fry?
2) What size grow out tank?
3) What volume and frequency of water changes?
4) What are you feeding?
5) How often are you feeding?

Like I said though... Guesstemate ;).
